PRIVACY POLICY
INTRODUCTION AND PURPOSE
This privacy policy is designed to help you understand how and why Uforika Limited (referred to as “we” or “our”) process your personal data, and why. We are a “data controller” of your personal data, as that term is defined in Isle of Man law.“Personal data” is data which relates to you and from which you can be identified (either from that data alone or when it is combined with other information that we hold about you).
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS AND HOW IS IT USED?
When you establish a wallet on our website, we will ask you to provide the following information:
- Your full legal name
- Your email address
- Your date of birth
- Your wallet address
This information is required so that we can:
- establish a wallet for you;
- determine that you are of legal age to use our website;
- communicate with you in relation to your wallet;
- undertake internal verification procedures as required by law or regulation;
- prevent fraud and money laundering.
If you do not provide this information to us, you may be prevented from establishing a wallet. In order to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (particularly in relation to anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism) we may also conduct public-source searches based on the data you provide to us. We will not use your personal data for marketing purposes and we will not sell it to any third parties.
WHERE IS THE DATA STORED?
Your information will be held electronically on our servers.
WHO CAN ACCESS MY PERSONAL DATA?
Our staff (including our technical team; development team and customer service team) will be able to access your personal data in order to assist with any wallet queries and communicate with you about your wallet. In order to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, we may engage the service of a third-party “know your customer” provider in order to satisfy ourselves that we are not prohibited from accepting you onto the website. If we do this, your personal data may be shared with the third-party provider for the purpose of enabling us to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We will share your personal data with:
- Torus Labs Pte Ltd (trading as “Web3Auth”) for the purpose of creating your wallet; and
- Bidstack Limited (for the purpose of providing you with in-game services).
PERSONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We will not transfer your personal data outside the Isle of Man unless we determine that the recipient applies at least the same level of protection for your personal data as is mandated by Isle of Man law.
HOW LONG IS THE DATA KEPT FOR?
We will keep your personal data for at least as long as you have an active wallet with us, but we may be obliged to keep it for a longer period in order to comply with our legal and regulatory responsibilities. We will destroy your personal data in line with applicable retention periods, and the commencement date for such retention period will normally be the date on which you close your account/wallet or the date on which we deem it to be an inactive wallet (whichever is applicable).
AMENDMENTS TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to amend this privacy policy at any time. If we do so, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any materially significant, non-clerical changes by emailing you at the email address you have registered with us. It is however your responsibility to review this privacy policy from time to time. Your continued use of your wallet will constitute your acceptance of any amendments that we may make to this privacy policy from time to time. If you do not accept the amendments, you should not continue to use your wallet.
YOUR LOCATION DATA AND COOKIES
When you access and use our website, we may be able to see and collect information about:
- Your internet protocol (IP) address;
- Your geographic location;
- The type of web browser that you are using; and
- The type of device that you are using.
We use cookies to improve your experience of the website. Cookies are small text files which are typically placed onto your device’s hard drive by websites that you visit. They have a variety of purposes, principally to provide the operator of the website with information about users of the site. We use cookies to analyse errors or problems with the website, to show us which parts of the website are visited the most (and the least) and to show you other products or services we believe you may be interested in. This allows us to improve your experience by dealing with any known problems and making the website easier to navigate and use. By creating a wallet, you agree and expressly consent that we may use cookies for the purposes set out above.

You have additional rights under the Isle of Man’s data protection legislation, such as the right to rectification of incomplete data and the right to erasure of data. You also have a right to receive the personal data that you provide to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and you have the right to transmit this data to another data controller without hindrance from us. You also have the right to object to us processing your personal data, however, if you wish to exercise this right please note that it may limit the extent to which you are able to access the website and interact with us.
