In 2021, the UFORIKA founders saw an opportunity to build a new virtual platform experience that would both inspire and empower, removing barriers to deliver an accessible environment to engage every user.

Combining their cultural, creative and professional passions, the UFORIKA vision was written with a driving ambition to liberate limitless creativity for the virtual world, embracing the digital revolution and ready to disrupt the existing status quo.

A supporting team of world class talent was assembled to join the mission to redefine reality and UFORIKA was truly born!

Since then, UFORIKA has been committed to building an environment that pushes technical boundaries, laying the foundations to enable a diverse community of users from all over the world. Through its innovative platform and community-driven approach, UFORIKA aims for individuals to unlock their creative potential, discover new passions, and bring their ideas to life with a priority focus on fun and engagement.

SIMON BRANT

CO-FOUNDER & CEO

Simon is an accomplished IT industry veteran with a decade of experience in the field. Throughout his career, he has held senior positions at some of the world’s largest solution providers, where he partnered alongside companies including Apple, HP, Lenovo, Intel, and Microsoft. Simon’s extensive knowledge of the industry has allowed him to build a reputation for being a reliable and effective leader who can deliver results.

ADAM GREENWOOD

CO-FOUNDER & COO

Adam has a broad experience within the start-up world with a proven track record of success. He has raised over £10m through seed to series A funding rounds, demonstrating his ability to secure funding and drive business growth. Adam has extensive experience in operations management across a range of industries, including e-commerce, ed-tech, food-tech, and subscription-tech.

ZACHARY LUKE

CO-FOUNDER & CPO

Zachary has a wealth of experience in managing and distributing creative projects. He has worked on projects with budgets of up to $35m+, demonstrating his ability to handle large-scale projects. Zach’s accomplishments include establishing the International Sales Team for one of the UK’s largest independent film distributors.

STEPHEN ROBINSON

GAME ENGINE CTO

Stephen is a video game industry veteran with over 25 years experience. He is an accomplished CTO, Technical Director & Senior Programmer with a specialism for game engine technology having built 5 game engines across his career. Industry highlights include the role of Technical Director at SUMO Digital, leading AAA titles such as Sonic & Allstars Racing Transformed, Crackdown 3 & Broken Sword: The angel of death to name a few. Stephen brings a wealth of technical talent & expertise to the UFORIKA team and is responsible for the technical vision of our new reality

IAN DEARY

GamE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Ian began his career in games as a designer and artist working on games for LEGO Group in the 1990’s. Subsequent career highlights include 13 years at Sumo Digital as an Art Director before moving to Franchise Art Director responsible for a team of four Art Directors across three concurrent projects with over 450 staff. Director on BAFTA Nominated LittleBigPlanet 3 and he later set the benchmarks for the BAFTA winning Sackboy: A Big Adventure before taking up the Franchise role on another globally renowned IP. Ian’s career to date has seen him work on a diverse range of AAA titles and he brings a wealth of knowledge, experience & creativity to the UFORIKA team.

DAVID ATKINSON

BLOCKCHAIN CTO

Co-Founder of Holo (ath #30, 5B market cap), Holochain, Rain, Gild Lab & collective action. Davids has designed 60+ currencies, advised more than 50 web3 projects including Virtua, allianceblock, IOEN, Foundership; and is on the woodstock IC. David is a technology architect, systems designer, crypto-economy creator, tokenomics designer and decentralised systems engineer.

NIGEL CARLOS

Nigel is an accomplished marketer that has help shaped the strategy and perceptions of some of the biggest names in the crypto space – from Grayscale to #1 gaming metaverse Alien Worlds, Nigel has had a hand in pivotal communications for a variety of clients in the NFT, DeFi, metaverse and fintech space. As a marketing leader, Nigel has been invited to speak a numerous crypto events from Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai to NFT London.

CHARLES J MARTIN

HEAD OF UFORIKA COMICS: STORY & PRODUCTION

Charles works in an array of fields including comics, journalism, novels and film and is known for his focus on complex characters, satisfying endings, and brisk pacing to unify his work. He founded Literati Press with a passion for the production side, shepherding stories all the way from conception to release and promotion. Charles is a key collaborator on the UFORIKA Origins series, driving the script and creative process forwards as a key member of the UFORIKA Origins team.

JONATHAN KOELSCH

HEAD OF UFORIKA COMICS: ART & STORY

Jonathan is a full-time illustrator and creator in advertising art, comics, picture books, storyboards, game and trading card art, concept art and animation. Jonathan’s graphic novel and comic work includes Uforika: Origins, We Promised Utopia, Rez Detectives, Luther (historical non-fiction), and he has storyboarded and co-created many award winning feature films, short films and animated shorts. His client list includes Marvel via Upper Deck, WarnerMedia, TNT, SYFY, Dreamworks, LEGO & Mattel. Jonathan is the driving force behind the UFORIKA Origins art style & illustration as well as a key script collaborator, integral to the UFORIKA Origins team.
